[Req] vista64/windows 7 user to debug unitsync
Unitsync crashes for some vista64/windows 7 users while being initialized from springdownloader.
I need help from someone who suffers from this and can run debug tools.
Unitsync must be compiled with symbols that your debugger can understand and tested when it crashes.

Has unitsync's visual studio project file already been fixed?
Re: [Req] vista64/windows 7 user to debug unitsync
Do you have a stacktrace ? You could translate it with buildserv by faking a Spring stacktrace.
Re: [Req] vista64/windows 7 user to debug unitsync
it'll probably be easier to make a dll with VS, integrated debugging of .net and c++, etc. cmake can generate VS project project files and/or solutions (can't remember what exactly, but it works.)
Re: [Req] vista64/windows 7 user to debug unitsync
64 bit or 32 bit? 64 bit OS yes but spring installers give 32bit unitsync, just a note
Re: [Req] vista64/windows 7 user to debug unitsync
it happens on 64bit OSes

You could test a devbuild of unitnsync, to see if it stil happens there and check for other bugs.

Re: [Req] vista64/windows 7 user to debug unitsync
I'm running 32bit Vista, would that work at all or do you 100% need 64bit?
Have you considered just building a Vista or Windows 7 virtual machine for testing? Microsoft has a Vista evaluation virtual machine in their VHD format which probably works in some free VM product: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en (I don't think its 64bit but may be worth a shot anyway)

Smoth will be fine - just test current springdownloader with that new unitsync posted here..
And check if its still crashing - well new version is not crashing but just writes into SD error log that unitsync failed and you cannot seed etc..
