The only priority is....
edit: I removed my rant... i was really pissed off and venting about how much of a pain in the arse installing this as a newbie is. Needless to say the installation procedure & instructions need a bit of work. Make it easier to install.

Once you have succedeed to install Spring on your distrib, you could have updated the wiki page on your own with you step-by-step procedure.

It's probably some issue with certain characters (maybe underscore?) in usernames not being allowed by the wiki for some weird reason...
