ever tried tha Pack0? its a machine gun. PS ca core has a flak cannon. Arm's counterpart is the chainsaw missile battery, which btw has different physics from the BA chainsaw. Try it!
on the Zenith deal, I mean a defense from it. The core's shields can block MAH LAZER,
but the arms shields cant block meator fragments
true dat!
but zenith takes a lot of energy to fire. IMO the best solutin would be to wait a couple years for me to make models for and lua up experimental weapons platforms
Pak0 is GOOD for aa, but i want.....
nuke is to ground as stonehenge is to air.
basicly a nuke for the air.

ps, when an anti nuke hits a nuke, does the explosion kill planes?
pps, I get the zenith part

ever tried making a mercury?

In CA, the arm mercury long range missile tower is your rapid-fire solution to anything that flies! just make one, stockpile missiles (like in a nuke) and watch it shred up krows las if they were finks ;)

If I had metal, I'd tell you what I'd do.
I'd go downtown and build a Mercury or two.

Okay this one goes into CA songs (it's already full of crap anyway)

Yep, those are good to, i use them all the time, espically in large #'s

Hello!
I have found myself with a bunch of free time, and I'd like to join the dev team for Complete Annihilation. I would prefer to be in the design/balance area if possible, since that is what I think about obsessively. I'm not much for programming, but I know some Python and I could become familiar with Lua if that is needed.

What can I do to help?

CA mercury != BA/OTA mercury

a single well stocked mercury can clear its (massive) airspace of an entire horde of aircraft. It is an even better superweapon than the annihilator is to land units

#Inthemicrowave: visit #ca (type '/j #ca' in the lobby) we'd be glad to have you! :-)

Talking about aircraft, I think a "spread" units command like there is in Nota would be really cool for CA, since packed aircraft are an easier target and something as simple as keeping your aircraft away from each other shouldnt be so hard to micro... even better if this command could work with units in movement, what it currently doesnt on Nota :)

A general (mod nonspecific) widget could probably handle this for you, we'd just need a decent algorithm.

Also ctrl + right click will keep them in their current formation. (They move at the slowest unit in the groups speed however)

The dev talk usually happens in #ca, spending some time in it would be a good start.

Dont really know how it works but will give it a try, thanks :)

spread command would still be usefull though, especially for suicide bomb units.

I have added a new unit to CA that can be used to properly counter the zenith. Ingame screenshot below:

Oh crap, Atari designed this model too. Add it to the list of Atari IP.
