hello i am fairly new to TA Spring, from what i have gathered, spring works fine, although it crashes nearly every time i attempt to save it, which would be great so see fixed, because i do quite a bit of single play, however, from what i have gathered, and i dont know if its a vista 64 bit issue or what, but spring itself runs fine, no need to even run in compatibility mode, the lobbies though are very flawed, TAClient.exe crashes almost every time i load it, regardless if i delete the registry, and delete the error and .xml file, the problem seems to be coming from Springdownloader.exe, which regularly crashes. So i tried SpringLobby.exe which does work better, however it occasionally crashes when i exit it, i have tried running these all in compadibility mode and as a regular exe, but nothing seems to be helping the problem. its just really an annoyance issue, i was wondering if the developers or someone with the code could compile a 64 bit build of TAClient.exe, Springdownloader.exe and SpringLobby.exe, perhaps that would be a start to be able to see if they will work without crashing.
thanks again, and do keep up the good work

Saving isn't, and maybe even wasn't ever, supported. The saving you see has only be half coded, never completed, and is best left ignored.sellerman122 wrote:it crashes nearly every time i attempt to save it

Re: Problems with both lobbies
hmm alright, what about a 64 bit compiled TAClient.exe, SpringDownloader.exe, and SpringLobby.exe??
Re: Problems with both lobbies
TASClient developper threw a tantrum and ragequitted, so I wouldn't expect a 64 bit version of it any time soon.
Re: Problems with both lobbies
Try turning off scripts in tasclient.
Re: Problems with both lobbies
I can assure you the crash on exit in SpringLobby is not a 64bit issue. 64 bit builds won't happen any time soon, as I don't see me setting up a cross compile toolchain for ming64 (if that is even feasible).
