Fire Ant. Once you get t2 air you can collect 10 of them an cluster bomb-unload the enemy base with them, causing massive damage.

From KP it would have to be Connection or Fire Wall. Pointers are good but can easily be just as annoying, firewalls make pointers 1 hit themselves.

No, because there always is a context. Since this is a thread in Spring's forum, unless it is specified otherwise, you can assume it's about Spring. What Smoth and others were doing is their little crusade to pretend that Spring isn't just BA.

So broadening to all RTS is wrong, but then even by doing so you admited you understood the scope was implicitly limited to Real Time Strategy video game "units", or else you'd have replied something like "My favourite unit is the pound", which too would have been a wrong answer because then there would have been no way to guess if the context was monetary or mass units.

I didn't find Terminals to be very useful myself. I think the charge time is too long and/or the weapon isn't powerful enough, and there aren't that many situations where it'd be useful. Having another socket to pump out bits seems more helpful. Am I doin' it rong?

By speccing and because it happens to myself, I found out the problem with terminal is that many times there are charged terminal that are unused because when when in battle, too busy to select and check terminal. So for KP 3.2 I adapted the buildbar widget to have an icon always showing the terminal charge timer, and when you single click it, it selects terminal, when you double click it, it select terminal and press the sigterm button. A bit like C&C:G superweapon GUI. Hopefully that will make terminal be used much more, and so make them more useful.

Ooh, yeah, that "idle terminals buidlbar" is a great idea. First time I played the KP with Terminals that was my first reaction "how the hell am I supposed to keep track of when this thing is ready to fire?

Cloaked flamer bot is awesome but fire ant is t1 and spammable.

I forget the name, but the massive t3 URC flying fortress is _bad_ass_ never used one in a real game tho, jst as a lol finishing move.

Chono legionaire in a rocket IFV has got to be one of my favourite rts units, purely for the lol opness.

Hyperspacing a carrier full of cruise missiles underneath a Hiigaran mothership in HW:C lans is always fun too.

Ooh ooh and basic battledroids in SWIW, I think anyone who has played with me in the beta knows how much I love those things, they remind me of back in the day 2v2ing people on riverdale with Dragon <3
