Darkstars FS update Question

I've made a tonne of little updates to the site, more like fixes and obvious things. I know most of you use jjs site, but this is a nice little backup.

Little things like removing tables and css fixes and making sure images scale down to fit in the page and dont generate horizontal scroll bars, some color fixes, a page telling you the file upload was successful and linking you to it, and so on. I might add a page that warns you a file is a bitmap and would be better suited as a jpeg/png.

I've also added picture sections

So I ask is this an improvement or a step backwards? Should I remove the wiki at the bottom of each page?

What I think you need to do is make the wiki page topics smaller, the download link large, and have the "This topic does not exist yet" instead be something like "there is no page about this file yet, click edit to create one." That or remove it, I guess.

And I have nightmares about ctrl+F5 after the last time I pressed it in opera and it was responded to with hundreds of tabs reloading in unison.

The image section, on the other hand, is very nice and clean.

I'm thinking if I go into anything major beyond tweaks Id rebuild the whole site using a proper code base with a framework such as codeigniter but I have other projects going on and work.

I'm thinking Ill make the download button bigger and more obvious then, and Ill look at your suggestion to change the page doesn't exist thing, along with meddling with how edits are made. IIRC it requires user registration, but Ill look into removing that compeltely and maybe jsut have a basic captcha.

Are there any other minor tweaks to be made?
