here is how I look at it:

luser = what 60%-99% of the world is when it comes to computers, and technology in general (speak LOLWTF or AOLspeak)
user = someone who has been trained to do some basic things on computers, and only does those things
neophyte = someone who is at the perifery of a technology (general or specific) and is trying things out
n00b = someone who is in the same position as a neophyte but acts like he knows everything, and get's mad when people expect him to know things he doesn't... typically very angry... good nerds skip this step... native 1337 speakers...
Computer Loser = has started learning enough to be concidered elite, stops speaking 1337 because he is good enough to know that he isn't elite and also because he suspects he might be putting on airs... might mix it in with LOLWTF or AOLspeak when mocking native speakers of those languages
Hackers = no need to define...
Elite Hackers = no need to define... they can say whatever they want...
