Actually, it's a KP video:
- youtube
- 99 MB XviD avi
I know the camera is a bit jerky, I know about /viewfree but I can't manage to get a view that is smooth, use FPS control, and follow the invert y-axis tickbox.
I tried to have big object close-up and avoid large panoramics, I struggled hard to make Youtube do a H.Q. version, but much detail is still lost in compression.
So I made a new Spring video

Bahhh!!! Mine is only 50 seconds long so far

Re: So I made a new Spring video
nice vid, but could be even better without manual camera control; jittering cam doesn't really look good. use tracking or scripted transitions, otherwise a statically placed camera. it'll require multiple shots of a single replay, but imho the effect will be worth it.
Re: So I made a new Spring video
Or just use free camera!
For the vid I have to say it was too long!

Re: So I made a new Spring video
very surreal, i liked it.
but smoother camera movement would haven been a plus.

Re: So I made a new Spring video
The shaky cam was n°1 complaint, so I guess I will have to do something about that next time.

Yeah, 9 mins is a bit too much, I should have split it in 2 or 3 5 or 3 minutes bits. The problem is that I shoot long sequence shots, and then I don't have the heart to cut them because I don't trust my editing ability to be able to convey the action clearly with heavily cut short sequences. There were some moments that this video could without however.Pendrokar wrote:For the vid I have to say it was too long!

IA, too long, but pretty cool. Nice work. Made me interested in playing that mod, I've never tried it
I've been wanting to make a CA video myself. Is there any topic where everyone can post their Spring vids btw?
