i get this error message when I start springlobby all of a sudden. the other day it worked fine, but for some reason it gives me

/usr/lib/libIL.so.1: undefined symbol: ilLoadVtf

and tells me I can not connect to any games. all of my maps are no longer there, yet they are in my .spring folder and all the mods are gone, and yet they too are in my .spring folder.

I installed spring from the ubuntu repos provided following the instructions from the wiki.

like i said, everything worked just the other day, but today it does not.

Please, how can i fix this?

and it gives me the error again.

there seems to besomething wrong with the unitsync.so file where it doesn't bring back any of my settings or information on what version im running apparently. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the repos, but no luck.

I tried to build from source but cmake gave me the same error:

deleting /usr/lib/libunitsync.so allows me to launch springlobby without getting that error, but none of my mods/maps load from my .spring folder.


also, i can run spring no problem, but it's the spring lobby that won't work... ill try taking this to spring lobby and see if i can figure it out v0v.

Same problem for me with debian sid.
I install libdevil1c2 use ubuntu intrepid version 1.6.7-5.2, All works fine!
libdevil1c2 in Debian version 1.7.5-1 not work.
