Keep getting error and Spring wont load! help!

Spring was working fine for me and now suddenly i keep getting "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000005). Click OK to terminate the application."


Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

ah sorry when i posted this i tried searching for similar posts but the search came up with none.. but i just now saw that im not the only one.

and not only that..i clicked "report a bug" on the client and i tried to sign up for mantis.. but everytime i get to the point in which my account has been verified and i just have to submit a password i get this error:

"APPLICATION ERROR #2800
Invalid form security token. Did you submit the form twice by accident?

Please use the "Back" button in your web browser to return to the previous page. There you can correct whatever problems were identified in this error or select another action. You can also click an option from the menu bar to go directly to a new section."

and i have not submitted it twice -.-. And the back button (the previous page) does not have anything that i can find that can help me. Except the message on top : "SYSTEM WARNING: session_destroy() [function.session-destroy]: Trying to destroy uninitialized session

SYSTEM WARNING: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /mnt/hdc/www/springsvn/trunk/mantis-1.1.4/core/error_api.php:166)" ..

Not having much luck am i? lol.. well thot i would report it. Hopefully someone here can help me with the original problem. ^^

brand new laptop:

*intelcore 2 duo mobile processor

*vista (sadly)

*memory: 2048mb DDR2 ram

*250 gb hard drive

*intel centrino 2 integrated graphics card

and all was working fine (Spring wise) until now.. havent downloaded anything since sudden change.. havent changed any settings that im aware of.. other than that all i can think of that i did do is the single player mode once.

I'm sorry, i don't know much about Vista, and to be honest, i don't want to either, it's a groteskque beast imho.

But be that as it may, from my uneducated point of view it does not seem like spring is the problem here. Does the TASClient_Err.log spit out anything useful at all ?

Also, did you try uninstalling and reinstalling and probably even redownloading spring ? Maybe some file got corrupted.

Since i am a webcoder however, can tell that this:

is a php error message. Aparently the script that handles the error messages did not get any data at all and therefor did not start a session, but is nonetheless promted to destroy the session (which is part of handling the form), this, of course creates an error. My guess is that since Spring refuses to load, the error handling app has hicups aswell.

I guess you can still consider yourself lucky, though, my gf has entire folders disappear on her vista notebook. They just disappear, never to be found again ... that is the single weirdest thing i ever saw on a brand new piece of hardware.

ye, i would never have gotten vista myself. this is a brand new laptop im using (and have been the only one to use thus far) and in a month its going to its proper home. To someone who knows little enough about computers that vista actually isnt a bad match xD. cant w8 till im back on my own pc!
