I don't understand this error

Image annotated for ease of understanding. Seriously, even if I navigate to the file and tell it to use the file, it decides that the file isn't there/that it can't use it. What the hell is going on? :?:

that's standalone springsettings I assume?

is the springsettings binary in the same dir as unitsync?

one guess would be some weird permissions issue, what windows is that?
another guess would be corrupted ( or > 1 year old) unitsync file

I downloaded TA Spring from the official site, today. So I highly doubt it's out-dated files. Could be corrupted I guess o_o if so someone needs to fix the download because people are downloading broken clients.

It's regular old windows XP :)

The file I am running which bugs out on me is "springsettings.exe" from the main Spring directory.

"is the springsettings binary in the same dir as unitsync?"

- I do not understand the question >_>; binary? Sorry, I'm a nub.

It started by booting the same error screen, but this time when I selected the DLL and applied it, it took me through to the next screen. So what was my problem? o_O

In addition after using this hack, and then saving settings which I modified, exiting and rebooting the hack - it did recall those modifications. So it works :)

Oh, and now I can't get into the lobby via the client, it closes connections or times out while trying to connect to the server(s) >_>; what do I do? Not that I could connect before the hack, lol.

Oh wait I'm in now... Didn't uhhh... Have an account *embarrassment*

your problem is actually a regression in springsettings, figuring out what's going wrong atm

also replaced the bugged binary with the previuosly linked one for installer use

edit: problem found and fixed

Alright, so now I'm hosting a LAN server, but when I try to play BA v6.5 with a bot, it says it failed to initialize the bot and that I should check if BA supports "AAI". If it doesn't - how do I swap the AI to a supported one? And where would I even find one? o_o
