Hi Everybody
I discovered TA spring yesterday and as I'm a fan of TA i decided to test it.
But the main program (spring.exe) doesn't launch correctly, it appears in the taskbar and disappear few seconds later.
I browse the FAQ and the readme :
"STEP 3(Optional): Make Sure the Engine Works on Your Computer
Browse to the installation folder and double-click "spring.exe". Choose "yes" on the "do you want to be a server" dialog, choose the "Commanders" script with the arrow keys and enter, choose a map with the arrow keys and enter, press enter to force start the game. "
But it doesn't mention how to resolve this problem. I also browse the forum but nobody seems to have the same problem (or I entered bad keywords).
Somebody told me to reinstall graphic drivers (I had modified ones) so I rolled back to ATI catalyst 5.9 (newest one), but it didn't solve my problem.
My config: Athlon XP 2200+, ATI X800 XL, K7N2G-L, 512 Ram etc ...
Running under WinXP SP2
If someone can help me ...
