Well, it shouldn't be THAT boxy...

Although the pic with rows of them looks good imo.

Heh. It's cute, but the polycount's not acceptable, and the proportions are off.

That, and I really don't see those cars being something we see in the "future".

Now... I'm not turning my nose up, if old-fashioned cars show up, ready to skin. But I'm sure not interested in uvmapping them. They'd look goofy in P.U.R.E., and that car, at least, is too new for S'44.

Speaking of which... if anybody does feel like modeling and unwrapping stuff like old Fords and Peugots and stuff from the 1930s, I will find time to paint it. I don't promise to spend hours and hours making sure every last detail's right, but I'll get close enough that most people won't know.

I figure that they'd have two uses- cars for S'44, and if people want to make a gangster game... there ya go, ready-made content (I am planning to do some vaguely futuristic army crap at some point, too, so that non-modelers who want to make games with this engine can be pointed at generic content that isn't 3DO).

We have some trucks in S'44 that weren't limited to army use. Soviet ZiS-5 and GAZ-AA (aka Ford-AA :-) ) for example were used everywhere, as were German Opels. Those are uvmapped and skinned, reskinning them to civilian scheme shouldn't be hard. So, those are the first candidates.
