Summary:
Lost Legacy is a third party race that was meant to put a spin onto OTA. In Xta, The Lost Legacy has been completely remixed and remastered to refit and have yet a different game design to play by. Most Fundamentals in Tech 1 remain the same, but tech 2 mobile units require a different strategy from Arm/Core. If you are looking for the original TLL mod, then don't look any further, for this is not a complete conversion of graphics and sounds of what you may have thought of in OTA or The Lost Legacy 1.04.


A lot of work has been put into this race by myself and a lot has been finished. I am still a far wee bit before being finished but if there is any time you wanted to help here is your chance, whether its for modding practice or challenges.
If you cannot contribute a lot of time, but want to do something here is something you can try to do otherwise make a post/private message me an assignment.
Team Color has only been half-fixed, the tll logo still defaults to purple, and is the only new addon to the team color text for .3dos.
Not all of the units have been assigned fx effects, mostly the custom flares on most tech 2 equipments are missing.
Create new fx effects that consist of lightning or some sort of electric graphic.
Create any new fx effect that could be used.
Create new build pictures on dark side map on the dark side primarily with team colors being white.

This project is expected to be finished around early-mid 2009, currently no sea, seaplanes have been filled in. Land game play is however good to go and has been tested.

hey.If your already doing balance changes.
some of the T2 units and buildings of both the arm and core need a percantageof their e cost transferred to their m cost.

How high tier are we talking? Will it need a control building or just an energy feed, making it indestructible?

Its not really much higher, its just on a unique more expensive builder, and harder to reach, therefore its slightly more efficient in comparison to average tier 2. Its a control building that launches a rocket into space supposedly.

Originally a giant laser that fucks in the sky leaves the ground rather raped. It would require massive energy feed, and it would be the counter to the buzzsaw but stuck in high trajectory. Its weakness is due to it not being a turret, it has low hit points and is easy to destroy if reached, but hard because it can be placed anywhere. Once the control tower on the ground is destroyed it'd be nice to make a satellite randomly fall from the sky.

Satellite randomly falling from sky? Lol its like the novax com kill. You make lots of satellites, kill the bases, and the satellites fall and kill the com.


If the satellite falls randomly its stupid. IMO make the satellite a separate unit. then make it fall for the lulz.
