I saw about this in the sticky, but I never used to have this problem and used to play this game just fine.

So have there been any big updates that really upped the graphics in the last year?

Unless your GFX is really low-end, it sounds like u need an updated graphics driver...

I have a radeon 9600...yeah I know its old, but the game used to run fine. Never had any problem at all. Now it won't even let me play.

same here, got a radeon 9600 XT, which used run fine with Spring, but now that i've come back from some months of break, i get this error message.
i installed the latest driver
