Strange Pixelation, garbled text

Hi, I've installed the game and i'm getting some weird graphical error. I've searched the boards over and over, and found one person with the same problem....but no solution.

The text is garbled, the map simply shows up as a bunch of yellow and orange pixels...but the mini-map is ok. I can move about the map and even play the game by looking at the garbled unit icons in the build menu and placing them. The builder will walk around construction things placed.

I have a 3ghz single core pentium IV, 2 gigs of ram, and a geforce 6600 GT

if anyone has a clue on this I would greatly appreciate it

learn how to search ....
1. the issue is discussed in one of the sticked threads (more or less)
2. I found the specific thread about it in less than 3min. (and searched for just 2 words ...)

Sorry, i'm obviously using the wrong words for search. Any chance you could clue me in on those two words you used? it would be very helpful
