It's supposed to be a referance for sci-fi authors, not an exaustive scientific resource. It gives you solid theoretical concepts to base fictional space travel off of. The idea is, for sci-fi authors who want to avoid having thier spaceships powered off of magic and regularly breaking the laws of physics, space, and time, this site can give them all the information they need to keep things realistic.Scratch wrote:I like the site. It's information isn't actually that far from the truth from the bit I read. The main problem with these ideas is the power source, but there are alot of unproven concepts on that site.

That's pretty cool.SwiftSpear wrote:The idea is, for sci-fi authors who want to avoid having thier spaceships powered off of magic and regularly breaking the laws of physics, space, and time, this site can give them all the information they need to keep things realistic.
This site gives information about how faster-than-light communication is, by Einstein's Theory of Relativity, equivalent to time travel. But, what would the people communicating at speeds faster than light say to someone who was trapped in the 4th dimension (time)?
