Matrix Mod

I have seen no attempt to make a matrix RTS despite my hopes. 'twould be most cool if a spring mod could be made (from scratch! X,X) hope there are some matrix fans out there who can code! :)
remember there is no spoon.... :lol:

I assume he wants a TC that adds tons of neat, graphically cool units for the mechs, the squiddies, the harvesters, the hoverships, etc. It would all be very cool looking, and would play pretty much like TA with a smaller and less-balanced unit set.

Sorry, I'm not really interested in TCs unless they bring some new, interesting gameplay to the table.

He just intruduces bullettime!
And how? Easy: he makes construction airplanes free, and thus the 1000s of planes produced will make the game run so slow you can see every bulled fly...

I've seen a L1 kbot getting blasted into a backflip from a bertha shell, thus dodging a D-gun blast.

We don't need no Matrix mod.

Someone should make recordings of a bulletdodging flying and shooting unit, then make AVIs from that with cool angles and slowed-down time.

Well a matrix mod might work in the matrix world, but not completely in the real world.

And the Machines will be over powerful...

Now you brought this up, the matrix might very well be inspired by TA's corny story of Man VS Machine :P

Well, humans could have APUs, with their great miniguns, and crappy spaceships with EMP, and....maybe some guys running with wheelbarrows to reload APUs ;)..

Anyway, if this ever happens, good luck to the guy who would have to script a sentinel.

Well, it would just be a plane with some contiuously rotating tentacles. Getting the tentacles into the attack position howeveer, is another matter entirley. Good luck.

I'd have thought he'd be talking more about the 'real world' that appears int eh matrix movies, the walkers they had in Zion, the ships, the sentinels, the planes and other weapons the humans had in the animatrix, and the other variety of robots shown in animatrix, those big huge defenders that fir the tiny little robots that explode, and the specially adapted sentinels that fir them too, those Anti sentinel guns they manned int he dock etc, now I'd like to see a mod made from that, maybe not a mod about people like neo and the agents, battling in a huge city.

Oh and those huge floating base structures the humans had.....

I liked the Matrix part of the movie better than the realworld part with rampant orgies, mechs and shit... :shock:

I like the Kung-Foo, the Guns and the cool outfits! not the sci-fi crap :P but somehow I could tolerate it in the first movie...

The APU's where very badly desinged. I mean, there is NO protection for the piolet! AND THE SENTINALS HAVE NO GUNS! SO WHY DONT THEY PROTECT THEM FROM RAZORS?!?!?!?!?!?!?

AURGH!

Why didnt they just have Neo die at the end of the first film.... that would of been original and lead staight into a sequil. Who would be the One? Hmmm... Garret?

Does anyone think it's a real shame they made matrix 2 and 3? I mean, the original was one of the best movies i've ever seen, combining awsome story, kung-fu, special effects, and even damn good character development. Two and three had crappy storylines that didn't even begin to scratch the surface of the depth of number one, and the digital kung-fu effects, while being done better than any movie to date, were still not as good as the real thing. Plus, some of the fights were kind of boring, lacking the instensity and suspense of those in the first one.
