Like 50% of maps dont have proper start positions, and usually they are in wrong places, or bad for the random start position feature.
Cant we just make a possibility to change the positions, by clicking the minimap with mouse in the lobby client?
I dont know why this should not be added. Yeah we have boxes, but you cant randomize the box positions without others knowing which box is yours.
Also it would be nice to force startpoints for a team, like first you set up startpoints by mouse, and then draw a box on them, and then choose "force start positions inside the box". And when game starts, nobody would be able to change their positions. Would fasten up some team games and prevent startpoint fights & teamkiller ragenoobs.
Let us change and add startpoints !

he was implementing it iirc... in single player...
