What are the controls for the game and why won't my AAI work

I'm a new player, and I have no idea how to play or control anything. I want to practice with AAIs, but my AAI doesn't work. Someone said I need to update it, and to find some AAIs on the forums called "kai" and "aki", or something like that.

Can someone please help me?

As far as AI is concerned... well... since the current spring release is less then a month old... and there have been 4 subsequent bugfix releases... and there are still significant bugs being reported... There probably isn't a properly working AI build yet since they need to be compiled and tweaked for each release.

Try CA, it has a "Chickens" which is a LUA driven single-player mode that should provide some challenge.

Yeah, I learned that. But I saw some game play in 3rd person in some videos. and how do I tilt and turn the camera up and down to get more of a close to ground view?

This game really needs a tutorial or a ingame help and/or controls sheet.

How do I play off-line and play with AAI?

You cannot "play" in 3rd person views unless you play Regret's mod that you can find here. If you want to view the battlefield from a 3rd person view, do this: Select a unit, press ctrl + f1, and then press T. The camera will follow the unit.

Previous posts have told you that currently, the AIs PROBABLY WILL NOT WORK. However, i believe if you get KAI, by running you installer and choosing to install KAI, then it might work. KAI has worked for me on the new spring (iirc). If you wait a bit, or recompile the AIs yourself, you will be able to play with AIs.

The controls sheet is in the wiki. Also, you can customize the key bindings and commands ANY WAY YOU WANT if you are having trouble remembering them.

If you want to play offline with AAI use SpringLobby, its the best single player game starter in my opinion.
