./spring: symbol lookup error: ./spring: undefined symbol:

Post by pstahle »

Hi,

I am getting the following error:
./spring: symbol lookup error: ./spring: undefined symbol: _ZN5boost6thread12start_threadEv

This error occurs right after I run spring and select mod, script, and map. Any ideas on what is causing this error would be appreciated?....

I am running Fedora 9 x86_64 and have installed it from spring-installer_77b4_10-14-2008_amd64.zip which someone up created....

Thanks,
Patrick

Try the newer installer and see if it still has problems:
http://spring.jobjol.nl/show_file.php?id=967
or

Try running the springstart.sh script in a terminal and paste the text with the full error.
