my mouse is on plain ground, no units under it or near it, and when i click, it selects some unit.
when i do that again, but this time i dont click, i see in the bottom left corner that it is pointing at some unit, and then after few seconds it is pointing plain ground again, and then again it points some other random unit, but i didnt move my mouse.

Enemy units only, probably using the radar offsets. Wasn't this fixed before a while back?

well, i was spectating, so... i dont know are they counted as enemy units?

that's kinda possible. check if it happens without specfullview.

With or without, it only happens on units out of LOS. Dragging uses the correct positions.
