It's agreed upon that lobbies will transition to the GetArchiveChecksum function, no unitsync changes related to this will happen.

After transition, hashes from GetArchiveChecksum will be broadcasted, NOT those from GetModChecksum/GetMapChecksum, as it is now.

More info and date etc. from some lobby devs sometime I suppose :-)

I hope there won't be too much people missing or having bad versions of mod/map dependencies. Otherwise, having to restart games just because one player of the battle wasn't in sync but was shown in sync in lobby could be quite annoying :/

Finding missing dependencies should be trivial, even with new checksums. But much people complained spring didn't work when 0.77 was released and they still have some old springcontent floating aroung (because they were told to downlaod and install it somewhere).

are test deployments of the uberlobby scheduled? suggest doing this, best when aegis is around.
