Worldbuilderstuff in the new spring version
What about including the worldbuilder stuff in the new spring version? That way people don't have to download 2 files to get a map working so there wont be any confusion, right?
Re: Worldbuilderstuff in the new spring version
The thing is i really would like to see if it can be done is:
That all the stuff that needs to be there to let gaia spam soem units and give them certain actions would be in the mapfile itself.
Could this be doen by packing it soemhow when unpacking it it would spam the stuff in the right folders to have independancy.
So mappers can in file make interaction between map and player.

Please, don't do anything like this.
World Builder requires integration with a game. I haven't even had time to finish the first dev kit.
And you'd be locking people into a version for months, instead of letting it evolve over time, with new content. It's only a few MB in size. It will eventually (hopefully) grow into something big enough that it doesn't make any sense to release very often, and it could be tied to Spring at that point... but now is definitely not the time.
And Daan... read the directions. I explained what files to look at, what to change, and how to change them. If you're stuck, ask specific questions. While maybe we'll have a visual editing environment for this at some point, I certainly can't promise that, and I wish that people would be lot more patient, I can't possibly stretch in so many directions right now, and World Builder cannot be a top priority for me right now, as much as I would like that.
