Look familiar? I just found out today this was a real crater on mars. I saw a pic of it on the front cover of the Caltech Course catalog, and I was like ZOMGWTF Spring? I have a lot of respect for this map now that I see what a great recreation it is.

For me being a space.com junkie, it were the other way around. I first read about the crater as one of the exploration targets for the Mars rover Opportunity as well as saw that image taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.

Then I see this crater as a map in Spring!!?!

Just HAD to download and test playing it, fighting battles on the very grounds visited by the rover Opportunity !! Awesome!
