openAL updates?

openAL 0.8 source code isn't under sourceforge anymore. since this is a base library it could be much dangerous, but the project simply moved (years ago , o.0):

also the autotools support was wiped out so CMake is needed to compile the things,

can someone say if this openal library is able to be used to build spring? or i just keep using 0.8 binary thing? since Slackware 12.1 release i am unable to compile upstream spring against a not-so-upstream gcc, :/

which version you guys are using?
