hoi, yeah, I got tired of people bothering me about it. Yes all my efforts are focused on 1.2, afterwards TD will be my focus until TD is done(which should only take a few months or so).

Mr. D I think both models are good, if you want to do them both, I say do it. I doubt anyone here would look at them with disfavor.

Smoth, I searched the forum, and I couldn't find a post with pics of your Dominator. Could you please post some shots of it?

I like more the Rooster because I think this kind of rotative gun is amazing, I just love it :-)
You should just tweak the rotating weapon and the rotating support to have something perfect.
But I think you already started texturing the Rhino so it doesn't matter, rhino looks really good too
nice job :D

TBH, i think the rooster is uglier then the original tremor. The design is looks physically actually less likely to me. The guns when they fire apply torque, making the gun rotate like mad, so the gun design is actually worse for recoil. It is way wider then needed for stability, what does it need so much stability for? It size would only slows it down. Maybe you think that the gun needs to be so because of reloading systems.. But then again, maybe they found out a trick that makes the rotating barrels useful.. why else would they make something like that?

Still think the Rhino looks cool though.

rhino please. That is so fucking awsome. However, make it an arm unit, since it is more similar to the vulcan than the buzzsaw.

Hi mr d

FFirst of all i really like all of your units. But i think you could keep the tremor spirit a liitle up here. I know it isnt from ta thats why its so shitty job. But you made two great units and i hope the community understand how to benefit by these.

But :D

I would suggest you give it one more go. You basically only need another gun. Keep those models they are very nice. Make a new one with the chassis of the wide one. And the horizontal moveble gun from the other one. Than maybe change the gun in something like this.

Daan, you really need to work on understanding the physics of a gun mount.

You build these intricate and powerful looking cannons, and then have them rotate on a glorified door hinge.

Intricate and powerful?

It may be powerful, but it's 3 boxes with 6 cylinders...

I know its been a long time since any updates for this unit, so just so show that I'm still working on it, here are some WIP shots.

There is a buttload of work left to do on this, but most of the external texture is done, leaving the cannon and inside of the folding bay left to do.

Sorry for the wait guys, I'll try to crack down and get this finished soon.

Biggest problem so far is finding a good light orientation for the unfolding parts, since they rotate and so far, its hard to find a light source that will work for both closed/open positions.

I have the normal metal, and a camo layer finished so I thought I'd show both and get you guys' opinion on whether to go camo or not.

I would avoid the long grille that appears to be running down the top of the main chassis housing the gun. My reasoning here is that it exaggerates the stretched nature of this vehicle (sort of like a fat person wearing horizontal stripes, or a tall skinny person wearing vertical stripes), and perhaps makes it look a little proportionately odd. Otherwise it's shaping up nicely.

I think I prefer no camo, but maybe with some more teamcolour.

the camo on all the tanks is nice in itself, but having every tank have green on it is a bit meh.

Very nice! I agree with Machiosabre about the whole every tank being green, but then I think the green is good because it fits in more with a "theme" with the other vehicles. Also the green camo takes away abit dare I say from the Arm look.

So id go with green maybe with a little less if its possible, just my 5c.

Possible to make the green camo team-coloured?

Also, wet.

I think it looks a bit like a tram, you should try to make it more clear what part of it can open, and what part can not.
