Lung damage. Dunno if it's urgent, but you should probably get out of there.

edit: if he makes another reply to this thread, I'm putting in Comp1337 for a Darwin award.

It's not going to kill you in the short term, but it will fuck you up for a day or three. Get out and air the room out. And get some CFCs and UV ray generators in your room, if you can manage it ;)

That'll prolly be your imagination, but it's a good idea to get yourself checked.
Just wanted to know, how did you get that stuff in your room?

I built a small jacobs ladder using a dismantled plasma globe, then left it plugged in all day :/ (with closed windows and door)
damn skype and computer outside my room

When i opened the door now, i thought it smelled funny, but what the hell right

After doing some more tinkering i realized what the smell probably is

And here i am

well for once CFC would've been useful :p

ozone is mainly carcinogen (even tho still irritant to lungs in high concentrations), but that's not the only byproduct of plasma running in open air, i'm afraid the "funny smell" was NO2 from oxidization of nitrogen...

i'd definitely go to a doctor since NO2 effects don't show immediately and them can be quite nasty

From wikipedia:

"Nitrogen dioxide is toxic by inhalation but the material is so acrid that accidental poisoning is easily avoided. For example, fuming nitric acid is often contaminated with NO2. Symptoms of poisoning (lung edema) tend to appear several hours after one has inhaled a low but potentially fatal dose. Also, low concentrations (4 ppm) will anesthetize the nose, thus creating a potential for overexposure.

Long-term exposure to NO2 at concentrations above 40├óÔé¼ÔÇ£100 ├é┬Ág/m├é┬│ causes adverse health effects[2]."

Yeah, run to the hospital :)

Jesus Christ...I won't say anything now besides get to a hospital and get yourself checked out, then make sure your room is well vented.

Ozone and NO2, I mean, you're just dying to get lung cancer...

If it was that bad you would've prolly swallowed from the lung edema, so I guess it's ok.
