Custom formations / dualscreen / strange unit destinations

Am I the only one whose units are occasionally send to the other side of the map than I send them to? It seems to solely depend on unit position and chosen target. Wide plains don't seem to be affected.

I'm using 0.76b1, self-compiled for linux64.

could be an old version of the formations widget, disable it, or use a new one (eg the one from CA) only. i got this tip from Kloot, and for me it worked.

...but the widget version isn't the problem, this (still) is. I now have 2.2 up and running, with the minimap on the right screen.
