A minimalistic but very visable little thing in a corner would be batter, and just one, no need for window and linux/mac, its about mods.

It violates the design guides too. The red section is always square always the same proportions and always has a spring sun inside it and never anything else. It is always the same. The blue bit however can stretch to the left with text inside. That text must be the same font as colours as specified too.

I'm thinking we should also have an events box somewhere listing things like regular tournaments, map making competitions and important updates.

I'm also suggesting we also organize many more active events to create activity and allow new players to jump right in and get stuck into the competition.

Heres a few ideas I can think of of the top of my head:

* Regular tournaments
* Map making competitions
* Screenshot of the week
* Replay of the week
* Map of the week?
* Model of the week!
* Design a unit competitions

Just events which would make the community a lot more active and involved would attract new competition.

I'm also suggesting we add higher ranks so players always have something to aim for instead of just playing till they're a veteran and then quitting. We need things to keep people interested whilst at the same time allowing the community to become a lot more competitive.

Suggest ideas for cookies.

It's spelt "implemented". Sorry to be nitpicking instead of rejoicing, but leaving a typo in the very first words of the frontpage really give a bad first impression to Spring's newcomers.
