/r/ing web devs

Here's an idea, somebody script us a little web thing were people testing the dev builds can register accounts (extra credit assignment have it link to these accounts) and upload generic hardware/software specs, ie O.S., ram, processor, gfx card etc, then have the ability to post bug reports for cross referencing with this information or just with other bug reports.

Please note that a fair number ( read: fair number for dominion residents) of rum and cokes make this seem like a simple task, soz if I'm asking too much but it seems like a good idea.

Touche.

Although I thought I recalled something about it not being used anymore.

Looking at mantis closer (got an account) it doesn't seem to have any data fields for specifics, just general info, seems like that would make it hard to cross reference, which was kinda the point of the idea.

while i don't use mantis much, i'd still like to see the move to trac. Even in the default configuration I find it much easier to work with (using it at springlobby.info too). Plus it's insanely customizable.

The CA site uses track. Ive personally found it useful for what it is. Take a look if you want to see what it can do.

I'd be happy if springhq became the official bug tracker for Spring. I have no problem hosting it. I'd just need the latest database dump of mantis and I could import it in about 30 minutes and we'd be on our way. I have already imported an older database dump from a few months back if you want to check out how it looks.
