The Community

Why is the community a heaping pile of donkey shit? REALLY, They constantly flame me when im lagging like a fucking turtle, and dont even offer any help whatsoever to fix the problem.

Its complete shite, its just chalked full of elitest bastards who dont even give a damn other than to kill the other 5 people across the map with the most shitty means possible.

Im amazed you guys havent even ripped your fucking heads off by now, you dont even let new-comers LEARN THE FUCKING GAME AND GET GOOD AT IT. Your state of mind (I bet) consists of (Flame everyone who needs help, offer no advice to anyone else, play the game like your trying to get to level 20 in 2 days, and generally be an asshole) This is what I have observed from this community.

Really?

Wow, thanks, your giving me more and more evidence to support the topic on hand which you are undoubtedly trying to derail.

Er... play some AIs and don't join 5 vs. 5 DSD games, but play 1 vs. 1 with somebody who's not an arse?

I mean... basically, I understand what you're upset about, but the way to look at it is that you're trying to climb Mount Everest your first day... it's the equivalent of playing Dust2 on a AWP-allowed server with clan players who occasionally win tourneys. You're just asking to be owned, pretty much.

Maybe try something a little less frustrating.

The problem is that there are about 5 people who actively suck on the forums... I would expect that there are more on the lobby BUT it is a free access service so for the most part there's not much we can do to stop people from being jerks. There are probably fewer then you think however... I'd suggest you try playing with different people until you find a group of non-sucky ones

The Best way to get those 5 Jerks on the FORUM to attack you however is to flame bait them.

Oh, and,

a lot of people are arses in the main channel, try some of the other mod specific channels maybe?

Lollicide, fuck off.

Look Tark, I feel your pain, believe me. One of my biggest rants with spring is the fact that if you happen to get to the miracle of getting everything set up and working, you get in game and there is NO HELP whatsoever. Me and select others are trying very hard to change that, but unfortunately we can only change that within our own games, as for the TA based mods, you're on your own. Try Gundam sometime. Gundam is much less about the anime and Mech's kicking the living shit out of each other (which is hardcore entertaining no matter how you look at it :-)), another couple of games that I like, Evolution RTS (because, lol, it's my game! :-)), Expand and Exterminate.

Additionally, here is a site that will help you out A LOT with learning how to use spring and the games within. http://www.springinfo.info

THere are a lot of really helpful people around that will be happy to help you out. If I happen to be in the lobby ([Smug]ForbodingAngel), or you could even check out the #evolution channel ( type "/join #Evolution" no quotes, on the chatline). There aren't a whole hell of a lot of people in there, but the ones that are there are really nice.

Good luck.

 I take it you hauled this nub's ashe- er, I mean, you spank- er... I mean, you rap- hmm...

You know, I'd continue this, but I only fight with smart people who have lost their virginity. You'd just post more cursing, and it wouldn't be anything I haven't heard or read a billion times.

I was playing Quake with shit-talking mofos when you were still wearing diapers, kid, unless you're older than you sound like (which would be a tragedy). If we continued this, you'd probably burn out what little brain you have, trying to come up with a new variation on "yo momma" that I haven't already heard. So gg, no re.

Tark, that guy doesn't represent jack or squat. We're sorry if he's one of the first people you met. I dunno why he doesn't get banned for behaving like that, but that's not my job around here, and I suppose there must be a good reason.

At any rate, if I were you, I'd advertise for 1 vs. 1 on medium-sized maps where you'll have time to play a bit before you start losing. Losing is a normal part of the learning curve, but if you find a "star" player who's willing to teach, you'll have a good time even if you don't win. Good luck.

Try playing CA. We (or at least I) have no problem with noobs as long as they take some advice.
