The current most popular way (i think) is to use the way i stated. Another version is done, but i'm waiting for crayfish to agree.

very good. it is becoming a true spring manual.

i do suggest a contents page.

and ill say it again, pg14's picture needs to be remodled with numbers instead of words in the picture. the numbers link to plots of text explaining what the feature the numbers is pointing to in the picture in full.

Another version of the spring manual, this time hosted on a different website. Your long wish, pharoph, has finally been realized.

PS: sorry for rezzing.

Here is the link:

very neat that you made a guide.

A few things:
--you show mainly TA projects, they are all more or less visually the same except CA but the ca shot you posted look bad, grab a better one off of the ca site. if you want to generate more interest feature less of that stale old content.

-- I suggest that gundam NOT be added as it is not finished I don't want it represented in it's unfinished form.

-- KP, LoliMod, This, fibre should be shown in the doc as examples of mods. EE, starwars, eternal conflict should also be featured.

-- You interface guide was nice but you should crop the shots to only the areas of interest.

-- you should explain what TA is, briefly describe a few of the *A mods and what they add to TA so people can understand that they are more than unit packs. Also they are not a game they are mods of TA.

Trademark: I have no idea how to make a HTML document. Care to show me how?

smoth:
1. Yes, yes. That CA screenshot sure looks sick. I'll grab 1 from the CA site, as you suggested.
2. Gundam is not in there.
3. What id the mod "this"?
4. Yeah, forgot about TA

Maybe I'll add another section about Lua and stuff, but I don't think I enough time. Nowadays, my time is extremely limited. Maybe crayfish can still be willing to help me proofread and add some other stuff into the manual.

well,i could copypaste the text, and make some styles to it, but i dont know how to copy the images...

you need to write HTML code by hands, well, there are some shitty programs for it, but its best to write by hands.

Google brings up a few pdf to html converters. I don't really have a problem with pdf but if you want to convert it for whatever reason try searching.

Well, when I think about it, html actually has the obvious benefit of being able to be integrated into websites, rather then downloading it first. So if were going to put it on the new spring site it would be better.

As hard as it may be to believe, you can actually play Spring now, its become more then just a forum to troll in! :o
Take a look at the downloads page and try it out sometime. :-)

1. The existing manuals (or FAQs) are not clearly stated how to play Spring. I also had trouble figuring out how to start and play Spring.

2. So that you could consult the manual while offline rather than needing to open the web browser and spend eternity finding instructions on where to download mods.

3. To help new players like me.

2 things.

2, why does it say to ''pick a wise position for your radar'' if their so damn cheap :P
