Firefox is missing from that list. Using it is the most efficient way to be immune to viruses that target IE. ActiveX doesn't work in Firefox so that gets you rid of half the virus (virii?), and it doesn't pop up yes/no windows for your sister to click. Don't use the Java Plugin from Sun in Firefox unless you keep it constantly up-to-date.
