Model Formats

Hey guys,

I have read here and there that Spring is heading towards a new model format.

Who is in charge of designing and implementing this? A couple of us are interested in helping out and getting our feet wet and think that his would be a valuable addition to Spring. Making spring more accessible to everyone interested in developing content, that sort of thing.

We would like to know what/where the current status is of this, and, if someone could point me in the direction of where the model loading occurs in the project it would be appreciated.

Yeha's the one working on it as far as I know. That's all I know, though.

Maybe there is stuff already on CVS. Better ask them through PM (since they seem to not be answering) or go to the IRC chanel (can't remember which one is it) and ask around for some indications of where to look at. That is, if you guys are into coding.

If you are interested more on the conceptualization, that is done mostly here, at the forums (and maybe in swedish at the IRC forum, although i wouldn't know).
