Played it once. The geography and metal spot distribution almost certainly gives an advantage to the south player, who can pretty much secure all the spots on the land spike and in the lagoon thing before north gets a look in. It's an interesting map to play for the assymetry though and offers a lot of options.
Maybe a few more metal spots in the north sea or on that north island would help to alleviate the inequality.
Shit,you completly right..i miscounted..i was sure north has more metal spots.
I will add a metal spot to north and fix his starting position to a more convenient one.
Do not forget however that it takes mor etime ot take the lagoon metal spots and the rightest ones are at the same distance from both players...also all are reachable with an offshore bombardment building except the middle one.
