Re: Battle for Wesnoth
Oh God, somebody else who watched Elfen Lied. I need to scrub my brains back after seeing that one - the writing for Kurama's POV was OMG good, as was Lucy's... but the crawling story of Our Hero that was building up to the obvious reveal about his family was painful.
That, and the massive amount of gratuitous kiddie-nudity was just friggin' wrong. Brutally showing how the poor little girl was sexually abused by her stepdad is one thing... but the fact that whenever diclonii(iii?) fight they rip off each other's clothes was kinda tacky in the extreme.
Either way, back on topic: Wesnoth is cool, and randomness is a typical element to TBS games. Get used to it or stay out of the genre.

Its like saying card games suck cause they invovle luck..
Luck is only an issue if u play one game or a small amount of games..
Ifu ur a better player u will win more games on avarage than your opponent.
