So basically those huge walls of text would not be an issue if everyone was a great writer but in practice most people suck at it and their HWOT is 90% filler...

The article outright says that. A few times it points out how people were concerned new advances in technology would effect people for the negative, and while they were right, the positives far outweighed the downsides.

Thats were the Trouble starts - Why don´t we need it anymore? Because Google finds the best for you, out of the Haystack? Trust some stupid Crawling Bot to find the Pearls in the Dephts of the Inets?

Treasures are so hard to find because they are Hidden. Undhidden Treasures, like the Article, don´t autoreplace the hard to find stuff, well hidden in a hundred Page bellow a boring Book.

Thats only truth for literature, if you are searching for a specific information you wont want a wall of text :)
