AF wrote:pintle, forb, yan/gota, regret, relative, posts, neddiedrow, aegis, tribulex, Roxas, and crayfish have offered to test.

Due to recent events regarding tasclient Im not going to hand it out to everyone, and Ill need to repeat this whole exercise again a month or two once the current test run is finished.

So far I am definitely putting the following people in the group:

Aegis - development reasons
Gota - tends to give good usability critique on tasclient
Neddiedrow - community stuff
Relative - has tested in the past
Foreboding - has tested in the past

Im not sure how active everyone else is although I know personally pintle is active so he's definitely in. I dont want too large a group though so Im not sure how many more people Id put in.

I'm currently making final adjustments, and I would expect copies via pm within the next 3 days.
Neddiedrow, contact me and Ill get you the password for the blogpost, I thought it'd be best to send you it on msn like I did with 2 others but you've been absent...

Of those who already have the password, only 2 have even ran the thing, of which only foreboding has logged in. People who don't participate wont be included in future tests.

Ill send you a password regret.

I'd be happy to help out now I know I passed all of my exams.
I also had a semester of Java + Swing, so I may be able to help with that too :-)

I'm online now, you can contact me as necessary. MSN does not allow me to go invisible under Pidgin, sadly.

so where is the uber new lobby that should kick tasclient's ass ?

Image

that was 1year ago planning for 1 month later, so now i guess AFLobby or whatever you call it has at least 10 times more features than the others lobbies ? no ? what the hell happened ? you should rename it again so we could talk about it otherwise everybody is gonna forget what it is

Indeed AFLobby is something I want people to forget about but wether they actually do or not is irrelevant now because I no longer see spring is my main audience, simply my 'home' audience.

If you had paid proper attention to my posts you would have noticed the long detailed blog post detailing the status of all my projects, recent improvements, and their future goals. You would have seen that the defining common theme was slow long term evolution outside the public spotlight.

This should provide me with a nice stable well tested well thought out base within a years time or possibly longer, one I could never dream of obtaining by putting up avatars and posts to provoke the dignity and anger of rival competitors.
