ca downloader

Post by Lefty »

Hi !
I and my friend had tried the CA Downloader (http://spring.jobjol.nl/show_file.php?id=945)... but we have problems with sync errors now and the md5sums of the mods are different. I managed to unpack the file and compare the individual files and lots of them are different too :(
Thanks for replies :)

one of them might have not downloaded all of the files... the downloader I originally wrote doesn't have any problems for me ;)

since the files are aggregated by hash, it is definitely grabbing the correct files
I might add a redundant crc hash to make sure the file wasn't corrupt

The Python downloader for CA will generate a file with a different md5 hash everytime it runs. This is because of timestamps in the zip. Spring doesn't care though, it uses a special CRC that compares the contents of the zip. Are you sure one of you isn't missing OTA content? Can you both play BA?
