That spider is used in the Disturbed music video edition of 'Stricken'. Thus, it immediately gains awesomeness.

Giant Isopod, Bathynomus giganteus (they're like giant, purplish pill bugs that roll around in a ball), and flower mantis, Pseudocreobotra ocellata.

Wow, that flower mantis is beautiful, looks like a talented artist went to work on it...

I managed to tag a critter on top of Angel's Landing in Zion Canyon, Utah that I'd forgotten about - the wooliest bear of them all! Didn't have the right lens for the job but you can see what it is.

Not sure what species this is exactly - I've had a look on a few caterpillar pages and couldn't match it to anything.
