It is almost 3:30AM and I've been working on this for like 4 hours... in theory I would acctually make this out of wood and screws and stuff... chances of that happening are like 1 in 100 and it may look like poop to me in the morning but I think it's pretty cool right now.

Also, all desks are fail when they fail to accommodate dual monitor and 12x9" drawing pad.

You might not be able to see it from that shot but the inset under the keyboard protrusion (from the doors out) is actually 15 inches which the distance between my wrist and the tip of my toes when I sit with correct posture... it also happens to be 2.5 inches more clearance then my current desk.

acctually no I wouldn't be constantly looking left...



As you can see the "keypad" area of my keyboard lines up with the center of my monitor.

Also... To demo 2 Monitors and a 12x19 Drawing pad... If it was a priority for me I could cut the wedge off the middle vertical of the hood and then it could be placed centrally or on the right side of the desk.


The Shelving in the "hood" is intended to be moveable (still working on structural integrity issues but shouldn't be too bad) so you can also set it up like an arcade cabinet.

The vertical board in the centre of the desk would drive me nuts in about 30 seconds, personally.
