I recommend Graphit or liquid Natrium as Moderators, just ram them into #main - and you will see, people will cool down.. ;)

Lol. No, they just don't want to trade something horrible for something even worse.
^_^ which is why I will ensure uberserver is better (uberserver currently wins imho on all directly comparable features I have tested) before releasing it.

No really, there are people with a vested interest in the server and the lobby not improving.

aha!
under all of your accusations, you are actually confessing!

err... people who have been banned?

...because the admins/mods will love my improvements
...people who play spring will benefit from my improvements
...people who just sit in the lobby will benefit from my improvements
...and people from other engines will possibly benefit from my improvements

I sense something.

Please before using his server, check the sourcecode for backdoors, check it again, compile it yourself, don't use a compiled binary he might provide.

Brilliant idea!

I have shell access to the server...
Oh right, and the lobby server is Python.

Perhaps you need your spidey sense recalibrated.

The source is publicly available in a git repository. If you find any pressing back doors other than me being a hard-coded admin for ease of testing, please tell the community.

He already haxed his way into the private moderator channel without being a mod, so he obviously can't be trusted.

That's THE CONSPIRACY! They also want to suppress CA and support BA to destroy Spring! There are no issues, there is only conspiracy!

Aegis is one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met when it comes down to things that matter. I won't have anybody doubting his integrity on my watch.

You know i sometimes thought about aloud of opening a shop selling conspiracy equipment- you know cloaks, vodooequipment, Globes, cookies, whips and teach yourself the mad-conquer-theworld-laughing-books.. ;)
Spring is only the Beginning- a bootcamp for comanders in the intergalatic war we will trigger of..

lol No.

What? Players who...wait why does that matter. Just include a new lobby/server update in the next release. I mean, shit, if it's going to be in your license agreement, and you're having disputes about it now, just make it mandatory and automatic in #main.
The problem with lobby is that we don't have an active lobby client developer that's willing to implement features like that in a lobby client for us. Lobby server doesn't have to correspond with a spring release, because the user never actually has to download anything from our website or anywhere when we update the server, we just change the address during a short downtime and boom, we're running uberserver. Basically, uberserver won't be implemented as our primary public server until we feel it's ready, and we have no reason to correspond it's roll out with a larger release. The new spring release is coming out soonish, and progress on uber server has been going well, so it may just turn out that way, but we're not going to let one or the other hold each other back.

uberserver
no capital
no space

the server part should hopefully be clear
the uber part is just a prefix assigned to a certain strain+style of my python code relating to spring
