Crap, now you're going to make me read that crap.
Edit:
Holy shit! Did he just give her a miscarriage? I thought this comic was meant to be comical! I feel for his readers, they are going to be faced with weeks of angst driven plot. In other words: megatokyo * 10 = CAD

Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
I like the art in CAD, but the comic is pretty banal, current storyline included.
Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
i had to read his stupid essay to realise the girl wasn't dead, that's how awful this comic is
Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
If you'd been following the storyline you woulda known whats been going on

Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
When I read the comic I was like "Aw, that kinda sucks..." but when I read the giant essay I'm like "ROFL, Buckly's insane!" And so ultimately, the series managed to still be funny.

On the other hand, PVPOnline has been pure, liquid win since the Wedding business began.

He really seems to be pushing himself with the art and character development in this arc. The level-up thing had me lol'ing all day when that happened.

Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
I thought the plotline was getting a bit stale, but then we hit the level up strips, and lol commenced. An especially funny way to introduce new character art.
Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
+1 for PVPonline
Although penny arcade over the past few months has really been pushing itself to new heights as well. I really enjoy the subtlety and taste (or lack thereof) of the textless comics.
IMHO P-A is still #1, followed by PVP and xkcd/qwantz

Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
It got good again? Awesome. I get really sad when comics i enjoy hit the dirt, like LICD is becoming more and more like a bad sitcom.
Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
Normally my faves are SomethingPositive and Sluggy, but both of those are kinda floundering aimlessly right now. PVP is normally just the dull, consistent one that is a safe bet for an update every day, so I always know I can hit that when nothing else is updated. Right now, I'm excited about it - but partly that's just picking up the writer's vibe of excitement.
XKCD is always pretty good, but the updates are getting too infrequent I find.
QuestionableContent is friggin' awesome when crawling through the archives, but the storyline is so glacial that it is underwhelming to read daily.
My current addiction: Tales Of Mu. It's just text (it's a serial-novel, not a comic), and it's got a fairly large amount of erotica in it, so it's not standard webcomic fare - but it's updated very frequently, it's endlessly fresh and creative, and it's hilarious.
I Drew This folded (The Pain has made a good replacement), Ozy and Millie is similarly dying, and vgcats is updated once in a never.
Is there anything fresh I can read?

Oh, and we can't forget Doctor McNinja.
Re: Ctrl-Alt-Delete (the comic)
the PBF guy did retire, but I'm not sure if all of the PBF strips have been posted online yet (they are posted some time after they come out in a little magazine)
Dr. McNinja is awesome.
