Is it possible to make the unexplored areas dimmer?

That just shows you line of sight, it doesn't deal with whether or not it has been explored. There is no "exploration" in Spring, although it could be added with some Lua fairly easily.

ouch maybe i chose the wrong word, i mean line of sight actually.
Pressing L, but I dont want to lower graphic setting, missing shadows.

edit the registry

\\hkey\local user\software\sy\HighResLos

set that to true (1)

Pretty sure that defaults to true and still doesn't show shadows.

If so, it's currently hardcoded that this turns off shadows. I'm not exactly sure about the technical motivation for this, ie. whether it's easy to change it.
