How do you set which mod it loads units out of?

A while back fang and I had an EE versus gundam mutator that could permit both mods to fight :P.

Hmm, didn't know about modtype=2...there doesn't seem to be any lobby support for it though?

I don't think there's any Spring support for it even.... (e.g. in start script, in unitsync, etc.)

I have no idea, we just set the thing up to use our mods with a dependency. I forget the rest. There was some work but that was because we had two mods with different weapons and armor.txt files.

Such harsh words on the awesomeness that is CA-Chickens. I haven't played anything this fun in years.
Dont misunderstand me. I said that chicken with 10k resources and 100x metalmult is pointlessly stupid- just as ANY game with 10k resources and 100x metalmult is (speedmetal) especially when the enemy doesnt get similar advantages.

Also, why is everyone saying chicken would be too easy in BA? In fact i suspect most people would get raped well before t2 and the moho/exponential MM economy madness.

Well it would be too easy at a latter stage, in such a manner that in BA the game would have decreasing difficult instead of increasing... except for the jump of the chicken queen :)

I suck at BA only because I have a strong tendence to play games how I think they should be instead of how they are, and since I disagree with the economic and technologic system of BA, there are little chances of I playing well :)

Oh and my suckage doesnt makes anyone else suck more.

i reckon the incredible flexibility of tactis is part of what mades CA chicken so interesting, what with all the units, morphing and bling. transferring this along to BA/XTA etc is possible (besides being blatant theft) but I doubt it'd be as interesting..

Excellent mod.
We play it with 3 or 4 players.
We do have a request: we suck @ TA in general so how can we make the chicken-mod a bit more easy for us ?
Even with high resources at the beginning we don't survive long enough (before the air-unit wave arrives they have destroyed all 3 of us). We are trying to figure out what w'r doing wrong.

Especially the fast high explosice chickens (wave 5 or 6) are devastating. Anyone any idea how we can effectively counter these little buggers ?

An issue that made Easy much harder than it should be has been just fixed.

We probably should add a really easy beginner mode.
