No Real OTA ?

i m curious if there s a real ota-mod out there. not one like ota or with only lil gameplaychanges, just normal original oldschool cavedog ta. does this exist?
(dont make us discuss ota vs xta/ba here i just want to play both mods and cavedogs ta)

Hardcore Annihilation. It's still not 100% there as the Spring Engine doesn't work exactly like the OTA engine (e.g. the accuracy gain from experience is different, most exploits don't work, etc). Oh and the explosions look different because it would be a ton of work to adjust it.

well if the gameplay and especially the unitbalance is untouched i m happy. i was reading several other threads bout this and they all been controversial bout the question which mods is most cavedoglike. ok i need to find out if slashers and mortys rock in hardcore annihilation now. ;P

Well, linebombing and hawk dancing are not supported yet. Zw would be able to point out a million ways in which HA does not replicate OTA yet and how it affects gameplay but for casual play it should be sufficient.

of course its not all the same. i noticed slight differences in tech lvl 1-rocket behaviour shooting at moving targets ^^.
but i m happy with it if only anyone at all would host it :cry:
