A surprisingly-interesting little game

Connect the balls, avoid other colors while setting up links. Sounds easy, but it gets really, really interesting- to reach a high score, you have to avoid using power-ups.

Just finished 20 levels in 20 minutes, top score of 1466! The bonus levels look brutal...

Since using powerups lowers your score, the best strategy seems to be to just randomly place your circle and let it run.

Over and over and over until you get a high score.

Ya great game. D:

Meh, I'm sorry, I guess it's an acquired taste. The music sucks, but meh, I don't judge on music. It would have been a lot cooler with different tracks for each level, and different instruments for collisions and other events, imo, but I really didn't care, I only had to play it 20 minutes to win the main game.

There's actually a lot of strategy involved, if you want to beat all 20 of the main levels, especially if you are trying to use as few powerups as possible (I tended to have to resort to using "split" and the black / gray deleter on the final levels of the main game).

Optimal win conditions would require that you exceed the minimum number of white balls whenever possible, too, which is a lot harder than it sounds- you'd have to see all of the trajectories and bounces ahead of time. The only luck-factor then is the initial trajectories of the whites when a chain blows open, and you can play that by nudging just as they explode, among other tricks.

Its fun, but sort of anyoing that it rellies way more on luck than on thinking... at least if you wanna a high score :)

I had sound off so i didn't even know there was music. I also didn't know until the 18th level that you could move the white balls around.

I had 1631 when I got to the 20th level.

The 20th level is rather stupid tbh. It is designed so that you MUST use powerups. Also the velocities of the balls are just a wee bit higher. I get rather irritated a games that are designed for you to fail unless you take x handicap offered to you.

That said, I'm 3rd on the highscore list.
