I've done all that, i can run spring with his map, but i cant get the map conv it comes with to run, hence cant start testing my own stuff in it. That is the problem...

As an asside... When you make a custom feature, what will happen when you try to resurect it? If your making it so wreks can be resurected, then make sure it can tell what can and cant be. (im sure u thought of that though...)
Also, currently it uses spherical collision detection on objects right? but what about if you gave them a yard map? Not only would you be able to have weirdly shaped features, but it would use more of a bounding box method for collision detection right. And the height of the wrekage is already in (unless thats a hang over from TA?)

Just my thoughts
