This is set in the TA universe before the fall of Core Prime and the what followed in Core Contingency. This will cover the first Krogoth as the experimental Core unit battlefield supremacy. It is set three or so months before the fall of core prime in TA. Before anyone asks about the line of letters and numbers they do have a meaning, RB= research base, H55= mountain 55 or hill core was run by a super computer so it does not distinguish between mountain or hill, P=planet, GXC4729= this is the name core gave to this planet, C= commander, CR66= the assigned name of commander when he was built compared to other core commanders in this case we have the 66th built.

As new information on current positions of arm commanders and major space fleets came into the base, CR66 moved quickly through the small base set in the side of a small mountain. He had been displeased with the lack of defense when he had arrived early yesterday morning. CR66 a experienced commander one of core├óÔé¼Ôäós last had been assigned to guard a small outpost on a remote world, This strange move puzzled CR66 but he ignored the thought so he could focus on preparations of defense.
Reports of arm forward attack units making their way through the forest below had caught CR66 by surprise yesterday afternoon. Finks were sent out quickly in response to confirm these reports of arm sightings. They reported heavy arm Kbot activities in the forest below; construction Kbots had been removing a large area of trees. There were two arm commanders spotted that had been helping factory├óÔé¼Ôäós come online and a large force of arm units patrolled the outer areas. contact with the fink's was soon lost there last report was of seeing a large naval fleet parked in the nearby inlet.
CR66 had ordered the base to full operation late yesterday afternoon after the report made by the finks. Factories have pumping the base's defensive forces up past 75% of the standard number since they went online. Four newly built Gaats at the entrance have joined the six Gaats that are key to defense of the base over a dozen LLT├óÔé¼Ôäós have gone up alongside them. Rigorous tests and refitting have been underway since before dawn, keeping them at their prime capacity of defense. Construction Kbots have been busy at work laying dragons teeth down in defensive perimeters all along the defensive lines. Spoilers have been working in unison with the construction Kbots laying mines along the dragon├óÔé¼Ôäós teeth and around the defensive outer area.
CR66 made his way to the center of the base as sensors begin to pick up incoming enemy air approaching fast from the forest. CR66 immediately gave the orders to fighters to intercept; looking towards the airfield he sees four vamps take off followed by eight avengers intercept the unknown air. They confirmed arm air units three peepers followed by six freedom fighters with two hawks following behind in a v formation. Considering details and different consequences the order is issued to eliminate all targets.
The formation of fighters raise above the clouds lead by the vamps they sweep down from behind the arm├óÔé¼Ôäós aircraft. It was over in seconds the vamps took out the hawks and speed past the freedom fighters for the peepers out in front. Freedom fighters were slow to get locks on the vamps the avengers came from behind as the freedom fighters fired it was to late to evade the avengers fired only two of the freedom fighters missiles escaped the explosions. The vamps had already destroyed the peepers and dodged the missiles with ease, they returned to base to rearm and take up patrols knowing that was just the beginning.
CR66 had received a report late yesterday afternoon that put a large arm rapid deployment strike force heading towards his current location from the south, this was bad news for him he had fought a rapid deployment strike force before that started out with that exact scouting maneuver they had forced core off more then one planet. CR66 was sent to guard outpost/research area CRWD-0023 from one of arms best army so that knowledge of the experiments and tests done here would be kept safely out of the arms reach. GR66 wondered why the arm had sent two commanders alongside there best soldiers. The data had been uploaded early that morning, Core Prime responded by giving the order to close away the experimental units in the mountain complex.
CR66 sent out the command for all basic ground attack units to be activated and moved to assigned positions. Construction aircraft were given the command to beef up AA and other defenses alongside the mountainside. Construction vehicles were sent to the defensive line to build four punishers. CR66 switched all factories to heavy attack units and have them gather at the central area of the base. Airfields were to produce an even number of fighters and bombers that could be supported by the base, and to check the current bombers and fighters for repair needs.
CR66 sent a message to Core Prime that the battle has begun for the base and the discovered information on the arm forces composition. Instigator light attack speed past him for the defensive line of the base as radar begins picking up multiple contacts approaching through the forest. CR66 examined a 3D layout of the base being displayed from a small projector that emerged from his armor, showing defenses and core units that were spread over the mountain. A small box displayed in a corner showed unit count and the status of all structures, he was checking how the mountain wall could be used in defensive ways. It was apparent the only way to enter the base was going through the defense set up at the gap in the side of the mountain.
Final preparations were being confirmed when the sounds of battle started up at the outer defensive line. CR66 watched tally├óÔé¼Ôäós slowly begin climbing of loses and confirmed kills he ordered the construction Kbots at the front who built the punishers to maintain the Gaat├óÔé¼Ôäós. So far all that had been reported was light Kbots and Vehicles attempting to make there way up the mountainside at the defensive line........
This is the revised version as you can see it is slightly longer and easier to read. My day has been going slow and i have not start the arm alternate version of there arrival, and im unsure of what perspective im going to use for them so it could be a day or so before i get that posted.

Its a little hard to read, but your already onto that. Also I├óÔé¼Ôäóm glad SOMEONE else here is writing. I like the idea of the story, and if you have MS Word or any equivalent word processor, write up the segment in that, use the automated spell checker and then post it. I have been using it with Rings, and it has helped immensely.

Yea i plan on continueing from the end of this as the battle begins heating up between the arm and core. The next thing i intend to post is from how it looked from one of the arm commanders views leading up to just slightly after i stopped on this one as to give me preformed base of continuation of the makeup of the first attack force has been composed.
I hope to as well improve my ability of describing the battles over time with these. Why did you have to ask about any other episodes? I have said i plan on having it be this research base where the krogoth was developed in secret plus since theres such a large amount of arm forces maybe the core think this is the oppertune time to see how it goes?
